Sheriff Rang Bell and Manned The Kettle
From 6-8 pm Friday, December 22, customers at Lowes Foods of Sanford at Spring Lane Galleria found Sheriff Tracy Carter sounding the bell for the needy during this Christmas season. As one of his community policing activities, he agreed to man the traditional bell and kettle for the local Salvation Army.

I find this very refreshing. Not only does Sheriff Carter ask his deputies to make community policing efforts, he asks the same of himself. That is a leader.
Let me tell you something Lee County residence you have a true leader now and one that will get the job done. He is a ture peoples sheriff. Tracy is a real asset for the county of Lee and I myself am glad you finally gave him a chance to prove it to you. You will not be disappointed.
